Automation & Information Technology

Inevitably, when one works with Audio and Video to any great extent, one is bound to come across Automation and IT products. My experience with automated lighting, window coverings, motorized screens and lifts, environmental control, and other similar connected products, harmonizes with my comprehension of network attached storage, servers, general computing devices, specialty computing devices, and other IT products.

I have been interested in computers from a very young age, mostly due to growing up around them and learning about them from hands-on experience. It was my knack with computers which led me to a position on the Geek Squad at the Best Buy I worked at while attending community college in 2003, and subsequently my previous experience with the retail store displays in all of the various departments in the store secured me a role as a store functionality expert as a member of the Geek Squad.

As with any technology category, Automation and IT can be daunting. The plethora of available products, the uniqueness within the various product ecospheres, and the attempts to connect and communicate between these different products is enough for many to simply throw in the towel, often settling for supposedly unsolvable problems or underperforming systems when the solution may simply require a different perspective. My goal with Automation and IT systems is to streamline and hone the experience for my clients so that they don’t have to stress about the details.

Some of the services I provide in this category are as follows:

  • Evaluation, Design, and Specification of Automation and IT products

  • Installation, Programming, Debugging, and Support for Automation and IT systems

  • Troubleshooting, Repair, and Specialty Software Services for Automation and IT
